The Country Winters

This painting was picked out from one of the artists from Insadong in Seoul. This paintings is characterised by depiction of Winters on Rice paper and using Acrylic and water colors together to showcase the blend of art. When we walked into his workshop, he was busy painting the spring view of the same, where flowers were blooming and the snow as melting. However, we loved the winter painting where everything is either black, white or grey. In Spite of monochrome, this painting comes alive and takes to the peasantry times where winters were cosy and fun loving. This painting is hanging in our bedroom and we love seeing it every morning
